Milano witnesses 30% increase in sales for H1 2017
New product launches and increased dealership network contributes to growth
MEP product manufacturer Milano has witnessed a 30% increase in sales in the last six months.
The company says this is due to new product launches alongside a growing retailer base.
Milano held its annual dealers meet in July, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel with more than 400 retailers from across the UAE attended the event.
At the event, Milano rendered a preview of the new products launched, which included new variations of electrical fittings, sanitary equipment, hardware products as well as a new range of DIY tiles and water purifiers.
Danube Group managing director Anis Sajan said: “Every year we ensure that we bring our retailers and distributors together so that we can assess how well we are doing and also areas we can improve. The dealers meet has indeed become an anticipated event and a tool for keeping our businesses aligned.”
The evening was followed by an award ceremony, where the dealers’ performance was recognised, and awards were handed out to retailers who achieved respected sales targets.
Milano also announced the winners of its recently concluded dealer incentive scheme Milano wale Switzerland le jayenge (Milano dealers will be flown to Switzerland), where 120 traders who had qualified for the scheme were felicitated.
“With the increase in portfolio, Milano plans to tap different verticals of the hardware market in the years to come and expects a huge percentage increase in its market share,” Sajan added.
