Dubai body and US's MIT to deliver real estate tech course
Dubai Real Estate Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology will conduct a two-day course studying the impact of real estate technology this September
Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) will host a two-day training course covering real estate, technology, and innovation, in coordination with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
DREI is the educational arm of Dubai Land Department (DLD).
Set to be held on 11 and 12 September, 2017 at DREI's headquarters in Dubai, the course is expected to attract real estate developers and analysts, mortgage lenders, asset, property, and portfolio managers, and lease and sales brokers.
Upcoming technologies impacting the real estate sector will be discussed over two days.
"A number of recently launched technologies will also be reviewed for their potential to contribute to innovation in the real estate sector," DREI revealed in a press statement.
Commenting on the training course, Mahmoud El Burai, executive director of DREI, said: "This course represents an excellent opportunity for professionals in the real estate sector, as it will allow them to benefit from the exceptional expertise of MIT – one of the world's most prestigious and well-known institutions.
"The course is aligned with DREI’s mission to provide the real estate market with the latest technologies and studies."
El Burai added that the course has "been designed to allow attendees to explore the ways that technology can improve customer services and ensure that transactions are completed with high accuracy, ease, and speed".
