Dubai developer unveils 448 Business Bay homes at Cityscape Global 2017
The residences will be developed as part of Deyaar's newest launch, the 63-storey South Bay project, worth $272m
Dubai-headquartered Deyaar Properties launched the $272m (AED1bn) South Bay development at Cityscape Global 2017.
The 63-storey tower in Business Bay (pictured) will span a built-up area of 12ha, and will feature 926 residential, serviced apartment, and hotel units.
Of the total number of units – which will range from studios to three-bedroom styles – 448 will be residential, 133 will be serviced apartments, and 345 will be hotel units operated by a multinational hotel brand.
Designed with a focus on 'verticality', the tower will be Deyaar's first project to feature three accommodation types.
Retail and leisure amenities will be developed as a part of the project.
Official sales for South Bay will be announced in the months to follow, Deyaar said in a missive to the Dubai bourse.
Commenting on the development, Saeed Al Qatami, CEO of Deyaar, said: "We're extremely pleased to showcase our newest development, South Bay, here at Cityscape.
"South Bay will be the perfect addition to our growing portfolio, as a property suitable for anyone looking to live at a prestigious address in the heart of modern Dubai.
"Business Bay is one of the most exciting neighbourhoods to be in today, and South Bay will be in the very centre of the city's leisure and business district."
