Parsons appoints MEA business development director
Parsons has appointed Dr Max Clark as business development director for its infrastructure and transport activities in the Middle East and Africa
Parsons has appointed Dr Max Clark as business development director for its infrastructure and transport activities in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
In his new role, Dr Clark will be responsible for growing the US-headquartered consultancy’s infrastructure and transport portfolio across the region.
A fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Dr Clark has almost 20 years of experience in the civil engineering sector, nine of which have been spent in the Middle East. He has also worked in the UK and the US.
Prior to joining Parsons, Dr Clark worked as regional project delivery lead for CH2M. He holds a PhD in civil engineering from the University of Edinburgh, and is based in Dubai.
Commenting on Dr Clark’s appointment, Gary Adams, MEA group president at Parsons, said: "Max’s skills are a unique combination of technical and business development. We are confident he will contribute to the company’s ongoing growth in MEA.”
With offices in all GCC member countries, Parsons has been working in the MEA region for more than six decades.
The company’s portfolio of ongoing projects includes buildings, residential communities, mixed-use developments, airports, highways, bridges, rail and transit systems, ports, water infrastructure, and oil and gas developments.
