Bahrain’s National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) has announced that it will organise a forum on Bahraini female engineers next week, on 10 October.

The event, set to take place on the sidelines of the 4th Middle East Process Engineering Conference and Exhibition (MEPEC 2017), will be held under the patronage of the country’s Oil Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

The forum is expected to draw the participation of women engineers from government institutions, oil companies, and industrial firms, among other relevant parties.

The planned event aims to draw attention to the achievements of women in the country’s engineering sector, as well as address the challenges they are facing, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
