Hormann launches thermal insulated industrial doors in UAE
Thermal insulation reduces the building’s energy consumption, consequently lowering heating costs and carbon emissions
Hormann has announced the launch of a new line of double-skinned, insulated steel sectional doors in the UAE.
In a statement, the door manufacturer said that its SPU F42 features sections that are filled with polyurethane rigid foam, making for a 42mm-thick insulating core.
This core, added Hormann, provides for strong thermal insulation, which reduces the building’s energy consumption, consequently lowering heating costs and CO2 emissions.
According to the company, sectional doors open vertically, thereby creating more space in front and behind the door.
Special report: Energy efficiency not a passing fad
Commenting on the launch, Darius Khanloo, managing director at Hormann Middle East and Africa, said: “Made of steel, or aluminium or a combination of both, the sectional doors are set apart by the programme range, top door design, and certified security.
“Therefore, very little space is required, which is a special advantage for halls with dome lights, glass roofs, or glass façades.”
