Leaders Kuwait 2017: What’s on the agenda?

With just over a week to go before the inaugural CW: Leaders in Construction Kuwait summit, we take a look at what’s on the agenda

There is just over one week to go until the inaugural Construction Week: Leaders in Construction Kuwait event.

The summit will take place on Wednesday, 18 October, 2017 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kuwait City.

The event will see more than 100 industry leaders gather to discuss challenges and opportunities within Kuwait’s contemporary construction sector.

At present, Kuwait is home to more than 700 active projects worth a combined estimated value of $234.4bn (KWD70.9bn).

Despite recent uncertainty stemming from reduced oil revenues, the sheer size of the country’s project pipeline is likely to result in high construction-related growth rates in the medium term.

Within this context, delegates at next week’s summit will address a broad array of pertinent topics, including the Kuwait National Development Plan, recruitment trends, challenges related to late payment, dispute resolution, the 2018 implementation of value-added tax (VAT), and economic and sectoral diversification efforts.

Construction Week: Leaders in Construction Kuwait 2017 will take place with the support of Platinum Sponsor, Driver Trett; Silver Sponsor, KEO International Consultants; Legal Partner, Pinsent Masons; Exhibitor, Peikko Group.
