Video: MEP sector sees potential for large-scale projects

The MEP sector is improving and there is a huge scope for large-scale projects, said Praveen Sarapure, group director and CEO of Brayan Group

The MEP sector is improving and there is a huge scope for large-scale projects, said Praveen Sarapure, group director and CEO of Brayan Group.

Talking to MEP Middle East, Sarapure said: "The MEP sector was little bit on the tougher side in 2017; the first and sector quarter. But now it is improving, we can see it in the market. We are talking about 50-60 jobs that are available in the market, but there are no major contractors available. There is a huge scope for the MEP segment for large-scale [projects]. I am talking [projects] between AED200-280m."

Brayan Group has offices in Dubai, India and Africa. Being predominantly an electromechanical MEP company, the company is into MEP contracting, renewable energy, switch gears manufacturing, electrical panels, facilities management, etc.
