Turkish rental company Ayhanlar Platform immediately receives delivery of fifty Snorkel lifts from local distributor Uzman Lift from local stock
Turkish rental company Ayhanlar Platform has placed an order for fifty Snorkel lifts from Uzman Lift, the local distributor for the UK-based powered access brand.
The order consists of forty Snorkel S3219E and six Snorkel S3226E electric slab scissor lifts, along with two Snorkel A46JE and two Snorkel A46JRT articulated boom lifts, and was delivered immediately to from existing stock held by Uzman Lift near Istanbul.
Necip Ayhan, GM at Ayhanlar Platforms said, “We were introduced to the Snorkel electric scissor lifts by Uzman Lift, and were very impressed with the features designed into the units to lower the total cost of ownership.
“Uzman Lift were able to provide immediate delivery, and this has been followed up by a visit from a Snorkel product support engineer who came to train our technicians soon after we received the lifts. We are very happy with the products and the service, and look forward to building this relationship.”
The machines were handed over by Mehmet Karakaya, GM at Uzman Lift, accompanied by a Snorkel delegation from the UK, including CEO Matthew Elvin and regional sales director Michael Wright.
Karakaya, commented: “We are very grateful to Ayhanlar Platform for this opportunity. We are committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service and I am pleased that we were able to support this request from stock.”
Since recently taking on the Snorkel brand, Uzman Lift has invested heavily in building up machine and spare parts stock, marketing the Snorkel brand and developing their technical capabilities – sending a team of technicians to the Snorkel UK facility for training.
Elvin added: “On behalf of Snorkel, I would like to thank to Ayhanlar Platform for their investment, and to Uzman Lift for their continued hard work and dedication to the promotion of Snorkel in the Turkish market.”
Following the delivery, Snorkel has also provided technical training to Ayhanlar Platform’s service engineers, equipping them with the skills to maintain the performance of the lifts within their rental fleet.
Ayhanlar Platform was founded in 1997 to support the Turkish powered access market. They operate from four branches in Istanbul, Gebze and Kayseri, and run a rental fleet of 650 platforms, ranging from platform heights of 5m to 70m.
They also operate a specialist fleet of ultra-high platform primarily supplied to the wind power industry for use in turbine installation and maintenance under a subdivision known as BigLift.
