Only companies with strong finance backing will survive the market, an expert told MEP Middle East.

Speaking at the onset of The Big 5 show, which will run from 26 to 29 November, Kartik Raval, general manager, Leminar Air Conditioning, said: "The market is very competitive and only those companies with strong financial and operational fundamentals will survive."

He added: "For a fundamentally sound business like ours, there are still enough business opportunities in the market to look forward to. Leminar has earned the trust of many top consultants and contractors operating in the UAE’s MEP industry. Now, we want to be the number one choice of not just the UAE’s MEP industry but also of the wider region."

Talking about The Big 5, Raval said that Leminar has been a regular at the Big 5 for the past 15 years.

He said: "Several of our customers visit our stand every year and we also meet many new customers during the show. We are confident that this year also we will receive good footfall and generate quality leads from it."
