SEE Nexus, Projacs ink project management services MoU
Under the terms of the MoU, Projacs will provide full construction management services for Phase 2 of The Sustainable City in Dubai
SEE Nexus has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with project management company, Projacs International, in a bid to optimise the delivery of its current and future projects.
The UAE-headquartered sustainability consultancy’s portfolio includes The Sustainable City (TSC) in Dubai, which is currently in its second phase of development.
The project management services agreement was signed in preparation for TSC’s Phase 2, and other SEE Nexus projects that are currently under consideration.
Under the terms of the deal, Projacs will provide full construction management services for TSC’s second phase.
Commenting on the partnership, Dr Muawieh Radaideh, chief executive officer of SEE Nexus, said: “The signing of this agreement marks the beginning of our collaboration with Projacs International to provide project management services to the SEE Nexus team as it continues to deliver exceptionally high-quality projects with social, environmental, and economic sustainability goals at their core.”
Olivier Petit, UAE country manager at Projacs, added: “The development of new project management targets and tools, focussing on modern environmental, social, and human values besides the traditional technical issues, is the core of Projacs International’s innovative professional practices.
“As The Sustainable City is a unique project in the UAE and worldwide, Projacs International, a creative and human company, is showing through the signing of this agreement its commitments in the broad vision of sustainability.”
An affiliate company of TSC’s developer, Diamond Developers, SEE Nexus was formed by merging and restructuring departments and resources behind the development of the net-zero energy community. The firm is now using TSC as a model to provide sustainable consultancy services within the built environment, in line with international standards, the UAE National Green Growth Strategy, and the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy.
As part of Egis Group, Projacs International provides project and construction management services across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia region.
