The Big 5 2017 exhibition opens its doors to the public in Dubai
With more than 2,500 exhibitors from 60 countries, The Big 5 2017 will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 26-29 November
The Big 5 2017 has opened its doors to the public.
This year’s edition of the exhibition will see more than 2,500 exhibitors from 60 countries showcase their latest project, products, and services to the Middle East’s construction community.
Several of The Big 5 2017’s satellite events and conferences will commence this morning, and the trade show will be officially inaugurated at 11am.
High-profile speakers scheduled to attend this year’s show include Hyperloop Transportation Technologies’ (Hyperloop TT) Bibop G Gresta; Cazza’s Chris Kelsey; and Expo 2020 Dubai’s Ahmed Al Khatib.
Josine Heijmans, portfolio event director of The Big 5, said: “The upcoming edition of the event will mark a turning point in the construction industry, settling the way to build better, more efficiently, and develop smart, sustainable cities.
“We’re extremely proud to announce that The Big 5 2017 will gather some of the most brilliant and forward-thinking minds from around the globe to discuss the present and even more the future of construction.
“The most promising technologies, building solutions, and materials will be on display at the exhibition, which will define key industry trends, opportunities, and best practices in the region and beyond,” she added.
In terms of educational offerings, The Big 5 2017 will feature the Excellence in Construction Summit (26 November); The Big 5 Innovation in Precast Summit (26-27 November); and The Big 5 Talks, a series of 72 Continuing Professional Development- (CPD) certified seminars that will take place throughout the course of the event.
The Big 5 2017 will also be collocated with The Big 5 Solar for the first time. dmg events’ new platform will showcase the latest solar technologies, feature an educational agenda of 12 expert presentations, and coincide with the third edition of the Global Solar Leaders Summit, which will take place under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy.
