Ducab awards contract to Cofely Besix FM with MEP services

Three-year maintenance contract to provide hard services to Ducab's staff accommodation in the UAE

Cofely Besix Facility Management (CBFM) has been awarded a contract to provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) and facility management services to Ducab.

The three-year contract includes a comprehensive maintenance contract to provide the hard services to Ducab’s staff accommodation in the UAE, a sewage treatment plant, and all other structures and utilities situated within the accommodation area and wash rooms, such as the catering facilities, prayer rooms, as well as sports and recreation facilities.

Ducab, established in 1979 and manufactures high-quality cables and cabling products, is jointly owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai and Senaat (General Holding Corporation, Abu Dhabi) with five operational facilities in the UAE.

Ducab support services delivery manager Godfrey Harris said: “Cofely Besix Facility Management have been a great asset to Ducab by maintaining our premises, and by assisting us in conducting recreational activities. We are very pleased with the results that Cofely Besix Facility Management have achieved so far.”

CBFM’s portfolio of clients include The Emirates Group, Dubai Mall and the Dubai Fountains, Al Sufouh Tram, Emirates Real Estate Corporation, Masdar, Yas Island and Adar Headquarters in Abu Dhabi, to name a few.
