Jumeirah Golf Estates to unveil Phase B of master plan in 2018
Jumeirah Golf Estates will launch Phase B of the master plan of its eponymous development in early 2018, says JGE CEO, Yousuf Kazim
Dubai-headquartered developer, Jumeirah Golf Estates (JGE), has revealed that it will launch Phase B of the master plan of its eponymous development in early 2018.
Yousuf Kazim, chief executive officer (CEO) of Jumeirah Golf Estates, told Construction Week that 2018, and the remainder of 2017, would be “pivotal” for the company.
He explained: “We plan to reinforce Jumeirah Golf Estates’ position as a world-class residential golf destination.
“Construction of the Green Sports Hub, a new retail centre, and Alandalus is on track for a 2018 completion.”

Kazim noted that the company has already sold out Towers A and B and the launched townhouses of Alandalus, adding that it has also received an “equally positive response” to the development’s Tower C following its May 2017 launch.
“[Tower C] will remain a priority,” said Kazim. “Finally, we look forward to revealing Phase B of the master plan […] in early 2018.”
Sharing JGE’s assessment of current market conditions, as well as forecasts for 2018, he continued: “In terms of real estate, investors and end-users alike are becoming increasingly discerning, with a focus on quality, access to amenities, and a full ‘lifestyle’ offering.
“We are also seeing continued growth in new areas of the city. For example, it is an exciting time for Dubai and Jumeirah Golf Estates in the run-up to World Expo 2020, and we are already feeling the benefits of being located in ‘New Dubai’.
“We anticipate positive knock-on effects as the expo draws closer. An estimated 277,000 jobs are due to be created as a result of Expo 2020, thus adding to market demand,” he added.
