Dubai’s RSG obtains preliminary approval to build five-star hotel

RSG Properties has announced that it has received preliminary approval from the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) for Sabah Rotana.

A 5-star hotel project that RSG is working on in partnership with hotel management firm, Rotana, Sabah Rotana will be located on Sheikh Zayed Road and will consist of 54 storeys, comprising 533 rooms and serviced apartments.

According to RSG, it aims to complete the project in 2020.

Raj Sahni, owner and chairman of RSG Properties, commented: “The pre-approval by DTCM for the construction of Sabah Rotana […] is another milestone for RSG Properties.

The property will feature a mix of studios, and one- and two-bedroom hotel apartments, in addition to food and beverage (F&B) outlets, meeting rooms, and entertainment facilities.
