Zulekha Healthcare Group has announced plans to build a 150-bed hospital in Sharjah as part of its growth activities in the UAE.

The hospital will be launched under the group’s Indian brand, Alexis Hospital, Zulekha Healthcare revealed.

The company will also be expanding Zulekha Hospital in Dubai, UAE state news agency, WAM, reported.

The expansion will add inpatient beds, operating theatres, emergency services, and labour rooms to the hospital, taking its total capacity to 179 beds. It will also create space for additional cath labs, and will see the development of an oncology care unit providing radiation therapy services and surgical theatres.
