The Emir of Kuwait, HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has inaugurated the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre, it has been revealed.
A museum and cultural district, the centre was developed by the Amiri Dewan and is subject to legal and auditing scrutiny, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), reported.
According to SSH, the company appointed by contractor Al Ghanim International to design the project, the centre consists of six main buildings, namely a natural history museum, a science museum, a museum of Islamic history, a space museum, a fine arts centre, and a theatre.
Cultural Innovations was appointed in 2013 to develop the vision, content, and exhibition design of the project, which is located in a 13ha site in the Al-Sha’ab district of Kuwait City.
