Facilities management service provider ServeU has won a big chunk of the FM service provision contract at MotorCity Dubai, worth over US $10.9 million (AED40 million).

MotorCity, a Union Properties development incorporating a Formula One race track, when fully populated, is expected to be home to 7,000 residents.

As part of its five-year contract, ServeU will be providing MEP and cleaning services for in excess of 3500 residential units in the development.

“We are delighted at ServeU to have been awarded a large portion of the FM service provision contract at MotorCity,” said Stephen Barker, general manager, ServeU. “We were competing against a number of other very competent FM companies and have won through a very tough selection process.

“It is encouraging to note that while selection processes are becoming more arduous, it is an indication developers are maturing in their understanding and appreciation of the importance of the FM contribution, by ensuring their assets are protected and managed by professional FM companies delivering international benchmarked FM services.”

Barker added: “Our technical bidding team has again shown its competence and determination throughout an extremely competitive process.”
