Ducorr completes corrosion prevention work on ADNOC project

Ducorr Middle East has announced completing contracted work for an Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) distribution project in Ras Al Khaimah Depot.

Ducorr, a Sharjah-headquartered supplier of corrosion control services for steel tanks, pipelines, and marine infrastructure, said in a statement that the scope of its contract covered the deployment of impressed cathodic protection systems.

According to the company, the system provides corrosion protection for up to 30 years.

Ducorr revealed that its Platepro system was also used in the ADNOC project, adding that it can be installed in less than three hours. This reportedly represented an estimated 150% time savings compared to standard systems.
