Havelock AHI completes fit-out of 284-key Four Seasons hotel in Kuwait

Finishing and fit-out works for Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait in Burj Alshaya have been completed.

Interior contractor and manufacturer, Havelock AHI Interiors, announced in a statement that it delivered the fit-out of three packages in 18 months.

According to the company, it was in charge of the finishing works, as well as the draperies and wall coverings for major areas of the 284-key hotel.

The scope of the fit-out programme extended from the mock-up to handover stage, and covered joinery works, including wall cladding, wooden ceilings, flooring, and doors for the guest rooms and suites, two food and beverage (F&B) concepts, and a boutique store.

It scope also included all associated decorative glass, metal, and stone works, the company noted in the statement, adding that its manufacturing unit in Bahrain produced a central counter and a bench seating for a Starbucks outlet.

Syed Kashif Akhtar, group managing director at Havelock AHI, commented: “We feel very privileged that Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya allowed us to add another […] project to Havelock AHI’s regional track record.

“Our Kuwait fit-out team and our joinery and metal factory in Bahrain embraced the challenge and were rewarded with additional packages during the programme.”

Meanwhile, Didier Jardin, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya, said: “I would like to thank Havelock AHI Interiors. [Its] ability to anticipate and respond to challenges is admirable.”

Yabu Pushelberg developed the project’s interior designs, while Kokaistudios Shanghai designed the hotel’s two restaurants, Italian Dai Forni and Sintoho. Both restaurants are located on the hotel’s 21st floor, and are connected by a 25m x 3m green wall.
