Safety and security services provider Restrata has announced the appointment of Neil Purcell as the company’s new head of consultancy.

In a statement, the UAE-headquartered company said that Purcell, who joined Restrata this January, will be responsible for leading the delivery of consultancy projects to clients in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and beyond.

Remarking that Purcell brings “a wealth of experience and an impressive track record in the electronic, physical, and integrated security systems design fields, accumulated from over 20 years’ experience in the industry”, the company noted that the new appointee is expected to lead its growth and international expansion.

Commenting on Purcell’s appointment, Botan Osman, managing director of Restrata, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Neil on board. His technical know-how, coupled with his extensive experience in the region, makes him a valuable addition to the team.”

Meanwhile, Purcell added: “I am excited to take on this challenging new role and lead such an experienced and passionate team of consultants, working on iconic projects around the globe, from the UAE, to Indonesia, and Spain.”

According to Restrata, its consultancy team plays a vital role in the execution of projects that require the designing of resilience into the foundations of a building, development, or community, in order to mitigate safety and security risks.
