Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has announced the appointment of Hussain Ebrahim‎ as manager for the carbon maintenance department.

Ebrahim started his career in 2000 as an electrical technician in Alba’s power maintenance, and was appointed as senior electrical engineer - power maintenance in 2008

He was then promoted to superintendent power electrical maintenance in 2015 and superintendent electrical engineering in 2016.

Alba’s chief executive officer, Tim Murray, said: “Hussain’s appointment is a classic example of young Bahrainis joining Alba thereafter developed and coached to take-up managerial roles in line with the Company’s aim to promote from within.

  

“With more than 15 years of service in Alba, I trust Hussain will lead the Carbon Maintenance Department in preparation of Alba’s transformation with Line 6 Expansion Project.”

Ebrahim holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University in Oman and an MBA from the French Arabian Business School / ESSEC.
