Ajman’s $41m Al Nuaimia infrastructure project 85% complete

Ajman Municipality and Planning Department has reported achieving 85% progress on an infrastructure development being implemented in the Al Nuaimia area.

Valued at $40.8m (AED150m), the Al Nuaimi project is expected to reduce congestion and facilitate the transportation of local residents and visitors, according to Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, chairman of the emirate’s municipality and planning department.

The project scope includes the development of roads, as well as the construction of rainwater drainage networks, UAE state news agency WAM said, quoting Al Nuaimi.

Detailing the progress that has been made on the project, the department chairman revealed that a 26km internal road and a 33km rainwater drainage network are nearing completion, adding that the development is expected to be ready for delivery by Q3 2018.
