Al-Bahar, the exclusive Cat equipment dealer in the UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, will introduce two of Cat’s latest construction machinery to the Middle East markets at the Big 5 Heavy expo in Dubai.

The Cat 320 medium excavator and Cat 962L medium wheel loader will be among the top models displayed at the expo, on 26-28 March 2018.

Launched by Caterpillar in 2017, the Cat 320 increases operating efficiency by up to 45% over traditional grading operations with a suite of Cat Connect technologies.

It consumes up to 25% less fuel than the previous, corresponding model. It does more work at a lower cost and reduces maintenance costs by up to 15% over the previous series.

The 962L is a power-dense vehicle, which uses a productive and fuel-efficient Cat C7.1 ACERT engine with a maximum power rating of 195kW and operating weight of 19 tonnes.

Furthermore, the 962L uses up to 10% less fuel compared to its predecessor.

Al-Bahar will also be displaying other models of excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, skid-steer loaders, and backhoe loaders.

Samer Ismail, product manager, earthmoving and excavation, Al-Bahar, said: “Construction’ being inevitable for growth of every region, we see it as the major growth driver for our regions. Additionally, initiatives like Expo 2020 promise new demand.”
