Khalfan Abdullah General Contracting and Transport Est (Khalfest) is set to receive its first batch of Mercedes-Benz trucks from Emirates Motor Company Daimler Commercial Vehicles (EMC-CV).

The fleet will consist of 15 6x6 trucks, the authorised Mercedes-Benz distributor in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the flagship company of Alfahim announced in a statement.

According to EMC, the multi-wheeled haulage vehicles are designed to carry extremely heavy loads across long distances and are regarded as “the ‘workhorses’ of transport and logistics companies across the globe, with reliability as an absolutely vital feature”.

Bilal Alribi, general manager of EMC-CV, said: “EMC-CV has a long and productive relationship with Khalfan Abdullah General Contracting and Transport Est that spans almost two decades.

“We are delighted to be able to play a key role in the ongoing success of Khalfest, which helps to meet the transport needs of some of the biggest companies in the UAE.”
