ADNOC Distribution is set to open its first three service stations in Dubai this year.

According to ADNOC, construction works have started on the three distribution stations, which are located in “high traffic areas”.

One station is being built at Dubai Investment Park on Mohamed bin Zayed Road, near the Expo 2020 site and Al Maktoum Airport. Another is under development in Al Qusais, near Dubai International Airport, and the third is on the Dubai-Al Ain highway.

All three stations will feature fuel filling bays, convenience stores, and fast food restaurants.

ADNOC is reportedly also discussing with an international partner the possibility of implementing electric car charging facilities at its Dubai stations, UAE state news agency, WAM, reported.

ADNOC’s CEO, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, commented: “The point of our expansion into the Emirate of Dubai is to bring our excellent services to more consumers as part of our drive to improve choice, convenience and service for customers wherever they may be in the UAE.”
