Dubai South awards $15m contract for The Pulse homes
A deal has been awarded for MEP works to be carried out for the Dubai South project, with contract completion scheduled for October 2019
A contract to provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works for Dubai's The Pulse homes has been awarded.
UAE-based real estate services firm, Adeeb Group, has won the $15m (AED55m) deal to work on the Dubai South project.
Adeeb's scope of works includes electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, firefighting, and heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Additional activities within the contract include low current system and gas works.
The community is located in the Residential District of Dubai South, adjacent to the Expo 2020 Dubai site and Al Maktoum International Airport.
Adeeb is scheduled to complete its work by October 2019, MEP Middle East reported.
Meanwhile, a year has been set aside for defects liability period (DLP) and maintenance operations.
Master-developer Dubai South awarded a contract worth $163.4m (AED600m) to Al Qabdah Global Building Contracting in October 2017.
Under the terms of the deal, Al Qabdah will implement the development of residential buildings in the urban community, The Pulse.
