Nass Contracting has won a $11m contract to execute civil works for an ABB substation project at Dubai Hills Estate.

The 11 million square metres, mixed-use lifestyle development project, a joint venture between Meraas Holding and Emaar Properties, includes residential, commercial, and leisure areas, plus an 18-hole championship golf course.

Nass Contracting CEO, Ghazi Nass, said: “We are very proud to be entering the Dubai Market on such a prestigious project with ABB as our client. This award is suitable to our overall growth strategies in the region.”

Switzerland-based ABB was awarded a $45m deal to carry out work on the substation in October 2017 where it will carry out the design, installation and commissioning of the distribution.

Nass Corporation Bahrain’s flagship company, Nass Contracting, was established in 1963 and focuses on structures, infrastructure development, pipelines and road construction as well as luxury villas, office blocks, warehouses and other commercial buildings.
