Both companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) each with ProTenders, on the sidelines of the Arab Supply Chain Impact Initiative's 'Matchmaking' programme.

ProTenders will work with Shurooq and Crescent Enterprises to streamline and digitise their "entire vendor management and procurement process".

Founded in 2009, ProTenders counts Damac Properties among its clientele. The company's founding clients include Abu Dhabi Commercial Engineering Services (ADCE).

The MoUs were signed between Karim Helal, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of ProTenders, Marwan Al Sarkal, CEO of Shurooq, and Tushar Singhvi, corporate development and investments head at Crescent Enterprises.

Commenting on the agreements, Helal, said: "As a [comprehensive] construction intelligence and tendering platform, we are already helping thousands of developers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to reduce their risk.

"This strategic decision will help [Shurooq and Crescent] source new partners and products, whilst controlling their costs and increasing process efficiency."
