UAE's Eagle Hills to build first Oman hotel in Muscat by 2021

UAE developer Eagle Hills has announced its first project in Oman, the Mandarin Oriental Muscat hotel.
The property will be developed by Eagle Hills Muscat, a partnership between Eagle Hills Abu Dhabi and Izz International.
Due to open in 2021, Mandarin Oriental Muscat will comprise 150 guest rooms and suites, in addition to five restaurants, a swimming pool, business units, and other leisure facilities.
155 units of the Residences at Mandarin Oriental will also be developed, marking the brand's debut in the Middle East.
Commenting on the project, Low Ping, chief executive officer of Eagle Hills, said: "We are delighted to be venturing into the vibrant Omani market for the first time, and particularly in the capital Muscat, where we aim to provide both residents and tourists with new levels of sophistication and service in partnership with the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group."
According to Arabian Business, James Riley, group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental, added: "We look forward to bringing Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service standards to Muscat."
