Bahrain's $35m open-air entertainment hub to open in Q1 2019
Royal Ambassador is developing the Manama entertainment project, which will feature leasing space of 10,000sqm and create 500 jobs in the local market
An open-air centre worth $34.5m (BHD13m) will be developed in the Bahraini capital of Manama.
Property and facility management firm, Royal Ambassador, will develop Juffair Square, an entertainment project in the Juffair neighbourhood.
The project will offer leasing space of more than 10,000m2, in addition to a 200-unit carpark, and 40 retail outlets.
Up to 500 jobs will be created by the project, in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
Juffair Square will open in Q1 2019, Eman Al mannai, general manager for sales and business development at Royal Ambassador, said.
Al Mannai added: "Juffair Square is a first for Bahrain and will solidify the kingdom’s position as an attractive destination."
