Details of ePROMIS ERP system at Dubai's Hennessey revealed
The UAE construction company is already witnessing "increased efficiency" due to the new system's "financial intelligence automation" benefits, one Hennessey official said
UAE-based construction company, Hennessey, has implemented a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
ePROMIS's ERP software has been installed for the construction company, which delivers infrastructure, renewable energy, interior design, and landscaping services.
Hennessey's chief financial officer, Waheed Akhtar, said the construction company is benefiting from the ERP system's "financial intelligence automation", which is resulting in "increased efficiency and productivity".
He added: "With access to real-time business intelligence dashboards and analysis reports, we get the benefits of improved visibility and transparency, which in turn helping us to make smarter and more effective decisions.
"Hennessey is a fast-growing construction and engineering company, [and] it is essential that our operations are supported by an ERP software that can adapt and scale according to the business."
Commenting on the collaboration, Joe Joseph, director of sales and marketing at ePROMIS, said the ERP would help Hennessey across the entire project life-cycle, adding that the system had replaced "several standalone business solutions at Hennessey, making it easier for the management in data-centric decision making".
He continued: "All the information is under one roof, and users can gain an overall picture at a glance, [...] allowing them to take decisions at the right time."
Reda Wafeek El Areed, project manager at ePROMIS, said cooperating with Hennessey's management on the implementation was key to the system's successful installation.
Areed added: "The collective efforts made this successful implementation possible, and the ERP will give Hennessey greater control over its growing business.
"The company will see increased efficiency in its operations."
ePROMIS's construction ERP features project management capabilities such as bills of quantities (BOQ) management, budgeting and revisions, sub-contract management, project profitability analysis, earned value management, and cost management.
