American Concrete Institute offers $10,000 grant to GCC students
The fellowship will support GCC students leading the academic field when it comes to concrete research and innovation
American Concrete Institute (ACI) will provide a fellowship grant worth $10,000 to undergraduate students in the GCC as part of its commitment to fund innovation.
The ACI Middle East Fellowship will financially support students enrolled in construction-, design-, education-, or materials-related courses at a GCC university.
Students attending university in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE could receive the grant, which will used to support educational endeavors and finance attendance for two upcoming ACI conventions.
The fund will be administered by the ACI Foundation.
"ACI's comprehensive plan to increase knowledge-sharing in the Gulf region is strengthened by this new graduate student fellowship," Ronald Burg, executive vice president of ACI, said.
"Great innovations are occurring now in the Middle East, and supporting future concrete innovators is key to advancing the concrete industry globally."
