Contractor of Dubai's Azizi Riviera installs two Raimondi cranes
Raimondi's 8t topless tower MRT111s are currently being used by Dar Al Adham Construction to build the flagship Azizi project in Meydan
UAE contractor Dar Al Adham has purchased two freestanding tower cranes from Raimondi Cranes for work on an Azizi Developments project.
According to a statement by the Milan-based crane manufacturer, the new 8t topless tower MRT111s were sold to Dar Al Adham Construction (DAAC) for an undisclosed amount.
Both lifters are currently working at the Azizi Riviera in Meydan, Dubai, the eponymous developer's flagship project in the city.
Commenting on the sale, Wael Hasan, Raimondi’s Middle East commercial manager, said: “The cranes are freestanding with a height under hook (HUH) of 48.7m with 60m jibs. Two Raimondi Middle East erector crews were mobilised for the installations, including our operations manager.”
Ramiondi has also provided three-day training to DAAC’s crane operators, designed to educate workers on the machines’ inter cabin controls and “other advancements in the Raimondi Deluxe R16 Crane Cabin”.
Hasan added: “We endeavour to continue to support our clients with the best possible customer experience.
“Sharing in-depth product knowledge and staging hands-on training sessions with our clients’ operators and technical staff members are a core part of service offering in the GCC.”
Raimondi's announcement comes just three weeks after Nurol Construction erected five of the Italian manufacturer's cranes at two sites in Dubai.
As part of the deal, Raimondi is also providing a full maintenance package, renewed monthly, that includes inspection and servicing of all aspects of the cranes during a project’s life span.
Nurol installed two LR213s at Creek Gate at Dubai Creek Harbour, and three MRT294s, Raimondi’s heaviest lifter, at Emaar’s The Cove.
