Union Properties will unveil a $680.6m (AED2.5bn) mixed-use development in its Dubai Motor City development at Cityscape Global 2018.

According to a statement by the Dubai-listed developer, Avenue District is its “flagship project” and is part of Motor City’s second development phase.

The project, to be launched at the trade show that will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre on 2-4 October, will span over 18.58ha and feature “an eclectic mix of elegantly designed residential units”, with a lifestyle-focused retail venue spanning over 9.29ha.

313 Avenue will be the first residential community in Avenue District, a low-rise community made up of 67 studios, 156 one-bedroom apartments, and 166 two-bedroom apartments.

Rubik, another residential development in Avenue District, will offer studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.

Avenue District will be bisected by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Al Qudra Road that feeds onto Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) through Umm Suqeim Street, allowing ease of access to Expo 2020 Dubai.

Located on Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Dubai Motor City spans 353ha and is made up of six districts, each encompassing a unique destination, such as Dubai Autodrome, One Avenue Mall, The Ribbon, Uptown, and Green Community Motor City.

Speaking on the news, Ahmed Yousef Khouri, board member of Union Properties, said: “Union Properties supports the UAE leadership’s vision of developing sustainable, holistic living experiences that promote a healthy and happy lifestyle.”
