Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (Enec), the parent company of Nawah, has dedicated its industrial development team to working with these firms and ensuring their standards meet nuclear energy project requirements.

According to a statement by Enec, this has resulted in “new contracts with Enec and its subsidiaries” for the local firms, as well as “created opportunities to broaden their customer base by entering the international market for supplying goods and services to the global nuclear industry”.

Commenting on the forum, Eng Mohamed Al Hammadi, chief executive officer of Enec, said: “The UAE Peaceful Nuclear Energy Program is already supporting many strategic sectors through the enhancement of local businesses, the development of new industries, and the creation of high-value jobs.
