Ellington's Belgravia Square in Dubai notes construction progress
Shoring and piling work has completed, with a mobilisation contractor picked as well
Dubai-based developer Ellington has completed shoring and piling work on Belgravia Square, its residential project in the emirate’s Jumeriah Village Circle community.
The group said it has also appointed the contractor for mobilisation for on the project, which will add to the five projects already under the Belgravia brand. Construction Week has requested Ellington to share additional details about the mobilisation contractor.
Featuring a contemporary architectural layout, Belgravia Square will feature two L-shaped blocks that face each other, located between Belgravia I and Belgravia II projects. This makes it, as Ellington said, “a community within a community”.
The development will also feature grand lobbies, dynamic lighting, and intricate sculptures by local artists, as well as a community area with a variety of lifestyle amenities on offer.
Speaking on the news, Joseph Thomas, managing director of Ellington, said: “With Belgravia Square, we are bringing to the market yet another desirable space for community living, and it will attract home buyers who value aesthetics in their property investments.”
The news comes seven months after the firm broke ground on Belgravia Heights 1.
The residential building will include 155 studios, one, and two bedroom units, as well as a landscaped podium level, a swimming pool, a children’s play area, and a fitness centre.
