Dubai Land Department signs MoU with Majid Al Futtaim
Agreement reflects DLD’s commitment to strengthen private sector partnerships to better serve customers
The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dubai Land Department (DLD) and Majid Al Futtaim will help achieve the vision of Smart Dubai, to make the emirate a regional hub for business, finance and tourism.
That is the view of HE Juma bin Humaidan, Deputy Director General of DLD, who added: “We will work together to promote innovation and increase customer satisfaction and the public’s happiness.”
The agreement is designed to improve the performance of processes and customer service and to streamline procedures.
“We can achieve this goal through continuous communication and the exchange of knowledge, institutional experiences, information, and studies at all levels. We will be partnering closely to implement joint projects including real estate promotion and collaboration in the integration of electronic systems,” said Bin Humaidan.
Under the MoU, both parties will work to facilitate the exchange of best practices for creativity and innovation in common areas and build an effective platform to achieve common strategic objectives.
Hawazen Esber, CEO of Communities at Majid Al Futtaim - Properties, said: “Through this partnership, we are taking a step forward towards utilising innovation and technology to further enhance the customer experience. We are confident that, together, we will successfully improve the ease of services for our customers and strengthen Dubai’s reputation as a leading real estate hub in the region.”
