Al Naboodah Construction Group's Educating Our Stakeholders programme was named the Sustainability Initiative of the Year at the Construction Week Awards 2018, held at Dubai’s JW Marriott Marquis hotel in Business Bay on 4 December. 

Judges were blown away by its strategy to drive a step-change improvement in sustainable construction with supply chain conferences and employee training programmes. One judge even praised the initiative for leading by example. 

Highly Commended Sustainability Initiative of the Year at Construction Week Awards 2018 went to T2o Engineers for the Outward Bound Desert Centre, which won the sustainability trophy at Construction Week Oman Awards 2018. 

The shortlist for Sustainability Initiative of the Year included Dow, HTBM ME, Lalbuksh Voltas Engineering Services & Trading, Nael General Contracting, and WME Global, as well as Al Naboodah Construction Group and T2o Engineers.

An independent panel of judges, comprising eight of the Middle East’s foremost construction experts, selected winners in 13 categories at the Construction Week Awards 2018.
