Construction is on track for eight Abu Dhabi Police General HQ buildings that Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) is working on.

Under a $129m (AED474m) multi-phase project, Musanada is building a Civil Defence Centre, three police stations, a K9 Security Inspection Building, and a morgue. It is also making improvements to the Al Wathba Prison, and erecting a boundary wall and security gates for the Police Training City in Al Haffar.

It is unclear when the projects will be finished or the stages of development they are currently at. However, images released by Musanada show structural work advancing with core elements coming together.

Commander in chief of Abu Dhabi Police, Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, said the eight projects were important to ensure the force has the necessary infrastructure in place in order to provide its services in the best possible way.

“These new projects form part of the efforts to realise the vision of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide high-quality infrastructure that meets the needs of individuals and the community at large in line with best international standards,” he said.

All eight projects will be reviewed by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Force as well, Rumaithi added.
