Edara wins SkyCourts management contract

Dubai-based project management firm, Edara, has won the contract to manage SkyCourts - the first National Bonds real estate project in Dubai.

Dubai-based project management firm, Edara, has won the contract to manage SkyCourts - the first National Bonds real estate project in Dubai.

SkyCourts is a residential community that will be located in Dubailand.

The US $408 million (AED1.5 billion) development will offer over 2,300 apartments in six towers. Apartments will range in size from studios to two-bedroom units.

Edara will provide project management services from the scheme�s design and construction phase through to handover.

The project has been earmarked for completion in the first half of 2009.

“Our aim is to become the preferred provider of project management services in the region,� said Phill Edmondson, general manger, Edara. “We have the talent and experience to add significant value to any development.�

SkyCourts will also include recreational and leisure facilities, rooftop gardens and cafes, shops and free parking.

Edara has managed projects in Dubai ranging from individual villas to large residential and leisure developments, commercial real estate, high and low rise buildings, along with a racetrack at the MotorCity development, also in Dubailand.

The company is also project manager for Uptown Motor City, Green Community Motor City and the Auto Mall, as part of the overall MotorCity development.
