Garden furniture specialist, Parasol, has announced its expansion into the kitchen industry, hoping to attract clientele seeking a mid-range kitchen solution. Parasol Kitchens will be offering a vast range of kitchens for all tastes from sleek contemporary right through to more traditional Shaker or farmhouse styles from the UK-based company, Symphony.

In keeping with recent trends for bespoke and luxury furniture a small division of Symphony, Charles York Kitchens, will create unique handcrafted kitchens to the clients specifications. A fully computerised design capability means once measurements are taken a 3D image can be provided to the client or interior designer.

The sales director of Parasol Kitchens, Lars Dupont, said: "Parasol felt that there was a gap in the UAE market for good-quality, value for money kitchens. There seemed to be the high-end European brands and then cheaper ones. Hopefully we have rectified the situation." He continued: "Symphony is one of the most respected European firms in terms of quality and volume of production. They offer excellent products and we feel they are the perfect manufacturer for this market place." In terms of appliances, Dupont commented: "We have teamed up with Better Life to install appliances because they provide a vast range and offer the customer maximum choice."
