Building memories from the Gulf

What are your recollections from the last 30 years?

Over the last 30 years, the Gulf has seen a phenomenal boom in construction, as members of the GCC have transformed sleepy ports into world-class waterfront and stretches of bare desert into entirely new, innovative and futuristic cities.

Sometimes it's easy to forget just how we got here.

Construction Week has always brought you the very best stories from building in the region. Now's your chance to share your personal stories and memories of construction in the Gulf.

Perhaps you remember the first contracts coming though from Jubail and Yanbu. Maybe you helped create the World Trade Centre in Dubai. Whatever your memories, we'd love to hear from you. We'll be sharing the very best of your stories in a special souvenir book to be published next year.

What changes have you seen across the Gulf? How has construction changed in the region? What were your favourite projects to work on, and why?

Send your memories, stories and recollections to us. Email james.boley@itp.com
