Door and locking solutions target Oman
International ironmongery partnership committed to Omani growth
The Omani and Finnish companies Almoayyed International and Abloy have teamed up to produce a range of ironmongery products, including locks, locking systems, architectural hardware and door opening solutions.
And the pair has claimed that Oman is one of their major targets.
“With the gradual return of business momentum in the Middle East market, we’re focusing on engaging building contractors, architects, and interior designers in Oman with our cost-effective yet best-in-class ironmongery solutions,” said Almoayyed International GM AS Rajendran.
“Within two years of commencement of operations, Almoayyed has been part of several key projects in Oman and, with world-class partners such as Abloy, we intend to become the preferred ironmongery solutions provider in Oman, as well as in the GCC.”
Abloy’s regional manager for the Middle East Jorma Issakainen reiterated the Finnish company’s commitment to the region.
“Our partnership with Almoayyed has provided us with the edge in understanding the local market requirements and tapping into the ongoing infrastructural projects in Oman. We’re committed to Oman’s growth and we’ll ensure top-notch quality, speed-to-market, and value for money across all our offerings.
“We export to more than 70 countries and the fact that almost half of our sales is from exports is a testimony to the world-wide acceptance of our quality and technical standards. We’re keen to scale new heights by focusing on vibrant markets such as Oman,” concluded Issakainen.
