UAE-based district cooling firm Tabreed posted record net profits for the financial year 2006.

UAE-based district cooling firm Tabreed posted record net profits for the financial year 2006.

The company saw its net profits increase by 104% to US $28.6 million (AED102 million) from $14 million in 2005. Tabreed's total assets reached $1.14 billion last year, a rise of 58.3% from 2005.

“Over the past two years Tabreed’s installed capacity has grown by 85,500TR,” commented Tabreed chair Mohamed Saif Al Mazrouei, “This growth will continue based on our firm contractual capacity. By 2008 we will add an additional 211,500TR to current production capacity.”
