Global architecture and design firm, RMJM has appointed a new CEO for the Middle East and Turkey, Nick Haston.
Formerly RMJM’s emerging markets director, Haston will further drive the expansion of the company’s Dubai-based operation into the emerging markets of the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
Haston was appointed to RMJM’s Middle East operations in May 2009, and has played a key role in its expansion into a range of regional markets. This has included the opening of new offices in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Turkey. The company currently has projects underway in Yemen, Sudan, Libya, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
“I am delighted to have been appointed as RMJM’s CEO for the region. This move is testament to the firm’s commitment to expansion across the Middle East and North Africa. The past year has been extremely fruitful, and with every move comes greater experience and knowledge of architectural trends and socio-political climates across this diverse and challenging landscape,” said Haston.
“We pride ourselves on having the correct balance of international and local expertise, and with over 40 years of experience in the region RMJM’s solid foundations are the roots to our success,” he added.
