Barwa has announced that it is on track to complete the Barwa Housing (Mesaken Saliyah) project by July.

The project was delayed after contractor Waseef took over the project from previous contractor, Panceltica.. Barwa says it has paid outstanding debts owed to sub-contractors on the project.

Khalifa Al Mohannadi, general manager of Barwa Housing (Mesaken Al-Saliyah & Messaimeer), said: "Based on our firm belief in residents rights to have a safe and comfortable neighborhood in alignment with the social development principles of the Qatar Vision 2030, we have already delivered a world-class development in Mesaken Messaimeer and are well underway to deliver the same standards with Mesaken Saliyah.

"This development will ensure that residents of any income level will have a safe and healthy social environment, which reflects Barwa's core values of building not just houses, but wholesome neighborhoods."

Built on two separate areas covering 400,000 sqm, the QR 1.3 billion project consists of 62 residential buildings and offers 1984 two and three bedroom residential units surrounded by gardens, playgrounds, health clubs, a supermarket, a fitness centre, swimming pools and nurseries.
