LG Electronics has officially launched an air-conditioning academy in Amman, Jordan to supply professional AC services and to educate the local and regional workforce on high-quality design and LG’s ‘smart’ technologies.

“I hope this educational institution will create a well-educated and trained workforce, and bring the AC education in Jordan to new levels,” said LG’s commercial air-con (CAC) marketing team leader Sangguy Lee.

The new facility stands to benefit contractors, consultants, developers and engineers, who will be introduced to the latest solutions in terms of lighting, solar cell and HomeNet control systems.

The academy will cover all Levant countries, providing CAC training services, and is also expected to be the hub for technical seminars and professional round tables for contractors, consultants, developers and others.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Labour Minister Ibrahim Al ‘Umoush’, Korean Ambassador Bongel Shen and LG’s Levant CEO Kevin Cha.
