Kohler Company has launched a new ceramic faucet, which could save 45% of water consumption in a building.

The Vas ceramic faucet line consumes 5.8 litres of water per minute, compared to tradition faucets that consume and average 8.32 litres per minute.

The new line is expected to allow regional consumers to assist conservation efforts to reduce water usage, by saving about 57,816 litres of water every year.

“As a global leader in kitchen and bath design and technology, Kohler seeks to offer the best choices in low-consumption products for both residential and commercial applications,” said Kohler Middle East marketing manager Mohammed Nada.

“Kohler’s aim is to help its customers to act responsibly on behalf of the planet by offering efficient products designed to help consume only what is necessary – without sacrificing comfort, design or performance. Kohler’s dedication to the environment is comprehensive, and also includes a global sustainability goal of a net zero environmental footprint by 2035.”
