The Jubail Technical Institute has issued a tender for the construction of several buildings as part of an expansion programme at its Arabian Gulf campus.

The Jubail Technical Institute (JTI) was established in 2005 under the umbrella of The Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu. Its main objective of the Institute is to provide hands-on training and quality education for students in the Electrical Technology, Information Technology, Mechanical, Technology and Manufacturing trades.

The tender covers the procurement and construction of new buildings on the existing campus site. Work will include the construction of chemical and petrochemical workshops, electrical and instrumentation workshops, library, gymnasium, A-type student dormitories, old-type student dormitories, staff dormitories and O & M building.

The tender fee is SAR30,000 (USD$8,000 – approx), and all paperwork must be submitted to the Royal Commission of Jubail & Yanbu (RCJY) by October 3.
